Dhwani Academy of Percussion Music, India to mark its 10th Birth Anniversary and to dedicate Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh on his 100th Birth Anniversary, organizes Behala Uchchanga Sangeet Sommelon, 2012 supported by Diksha Manjari , a sincere initiative to promote India Classical Music and boosting up talented budding artistes and visually challenged. The event is scheduled at presigious UTTAM MANCHA on 4th of March 2012 from 11am to 9pm.

This year the Academy intends to unveil, for the first time, the book on Indian Music notations in Braillie system. We believe such effort will definitely render support to the visually challenged music aspirants. The event is also graced by presentation of the academy students' and performances from our visually challenged talented students. This year we would be fortunate to experience some melody blended with rejuvenation from renowned artistes like Pt.Bhawani Shankar Ji, Pt.Ronu Majumdar Ji, Pt.Tejendra Narayan Majumdar Ji, Ustad Akram Khan,Pt.Ulhas Kashalkar Ji Dona Ganguly and her troupe and many more. 

Honorable and eminent personalities will grace the occasion and their presence will enhance the degree of significance of the event. We sincerely hope with the support of these prasiworthy individuals we can organize more of such events to extend our support towards under privileged aspiring candidates and serve the society.
